| Since its birth in 1994, maharishi
has evolved into one of the UK’s most influential designer labels,
offering men’s, women’s and children’s collections
available from exclusive fashion retailers worldwide. Founded by (creative
director) Hardy Blechman, Maharishi carries a strong ethos of respect
for nature while utilising the latest technology. MHI spring/summer 2008 explores the theme ‘No Future’, taking inspiration from dystopian pop culture classics such as Metropolis, 1984 and Soylent Green, and focuses our attention on the startling similarities between these fictional societies and our 21st century world. The collection features some strong imagery coupled with MHI’s customary attention to detail. |
